The best breaskfast I had was in Amish Country in 1974! We stayed at an old stone INN when we went to a retreat. The omelets and Shoofly Pie were awesome, in fact everything was. I shared a room with 2 other women, we had so much fun talking into the night. That was over 30 years ago and nowadays I appreciate sleep much more!

Oh, I'm sorry about that. The default for the web site is for registered users only to vote. Its not my choice. I think its to keep the voting integrity. But actually, compared to what IO used to have, a person can only vote once. Does IO still allow multiple voting? But your vote is good with me. ;D I can't add it though. Give The Ritz a try. My kids like it over Wades. Outside of Oswego, I like various B&Bs for a hearty, filling breakfast.

No question about it in my mind, the best all around breakfast in Oswego is Port City Diner on Rt 104 W.
Honorable mention, Press Box on the right side of E 1st St .
Sorry to say, the very worst is Wade's Diner. Food is so-so, screeching waitress hollering across room in ceaseless stupid conversation with any idiot who's trying to get his 15 minutes worth of fame??? No secrets in there. Officially #1 Rumor Central.
The place is 12 years overdue for a facelift and major overhaul. Maybe some may refer to the dump as fashionably quaint.I guess that there's no accounting for taste. So be it.
