The American Red Cross at the request of the state of Louisiana set up several aid stations at the Jena Protests. They handed out 25000 bottles water, ice and sports drinks to the protesters. I'm disgusted with this, these were disaster relief funds. The Red Cross will never get another penny from me. I have sent donations thinking that the money was being used to help people in need. I'm not against the Jena protest, but reports of people getting off buses without any water and then leaving with arms full of water and sports drinks pushes me to be against the Red Cross. From now on if I decide to donate again it will be directly to the people who need it. The Red Cross can go to hell.
