Police Find Child Inside During Cortland Drug Bust Last Update: 1/26/2007 4:54:08 PM
Cortland (WSYR-TV) Two people have been arrested after a drug bust, where police found cash, drugs, and the couple’s two-year-old inside.
The Cortland County Drug Task Force says along with State Police, they raided a home at 37 Homer Ave. in Cortland Tuesday night.
Police say they found about ¼ pound of marijuana and more than $19,000 in cash inside, as well as the two-year-old child.
Robert Button, 25, and Jamie Post, 24, who live at the home and are the child’s parents, were both arrested.
Button is charged with 4th degree unlawful possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child. Post was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child.
They’re both scheduled to appear in Cortland City Court on February 16th.
