I read about Carms Cafe when it moved from it's old location. I happen to enjoy a GOOD cup of coffee. Three times ltely we have tried to stop in for coffee and pastry but couldn't. We could never find a parking space near enough to the place.
Parking downtown has much to be desired. So for the time being, we go to Stewarts.

I have to agree with the Captain. There is a lot of room for improvement with the downtown parking scene. After going around the block hoping to find a parking space and finding one, then you have to walk a distance to do your shopping.
Yes, I think I know what some of the foul mouthed readers on IO would tell me what to do. But it's a different situation when your husband is handicapped. Maybe there ought to be more tickets handed out to those healthy people who park in the handicapped parking areas.
In the meantime, I hope Carm does well. I look forward to stopping in some day soon.

I really do hate it when regular people take handicap parking spots. I've seen it happen quite a bit around town. And you are right about the lack of the handicap spots. Actually, parking has always been a problem downtown. I wonder if that is part of the reason business seems so slow down there.
