I'll look around some more. here's some more I found for the local area. ------------------------ The Williamstown Volunteer Fire Department’s field days are getting great reviews (they are Aug. 17 through 19 this year). Williamstown is great. The workers have a blast while there with theme days and such. This shows in their customer service also. The chicken BBQ, Sausage on Hoagies, Fresh breaded Haddock - all terrific. Though choice for rides is Pulaski and Williamstown, both have Hawkins and they are the best ride company by far. Clean, Reliable and affordable. Field days themselves, Williamstown takes the cake. They give away over 20 bikes a year for free, excellent food and music. Plenty of Parking. Awesome chicken BBQ and Fresh Fried Haddock (not that frozen stuff) --------------- - Constantia, through Saturday, June 24, with a parade at 7 p.m. June 24
- Sandy Creek, with the Oswego County Fair, from Friday June 30 to Tuesday. July 4.
- Granby Center, with field days July 6 to 8 and parade at 7 p.m. July 6.
- Mexico, with field days July 13 to 15 and parade at 7 p.m. July 13.
- Pulaski, with county convention Aug. 3 to 5 and parade at 6 p.m. Aug. 5.
- Hannibal, with field days Aug.17 to 19 and parade at 7 p.m. Aug. 17.
- Williamstown, with field days Aug. 17 to 19 and parade at 6 p.m. Aug. 19
- Redfield, with field days Sept. 2 to 3 and parade at 6 p.m. Sept. 2.

from the syracuse.com site --------------- Oswego turns red, white and blue this weekend as the 43rd edition of its Independence Day celebration culminates in the annual parade and fireworks display Sunday.
A parade featuring about 20 floats, seven bands, firetrucks and other marchers will start at 1 p.m. at East Seventh and Bridge streets and wend its way west on Bridge Street before turning south on Liberty Street to Oswego High School.
The 20-minute fireworks display by Auburn Telstar will begin at 9:45 p.m. over Oswego Harbor.
Jim Bushey, one of a half-dozen co-chairs with the Independence Day Committee, said he's hoping for a continuation of the parade's unbroken streak of good weather.
"It's never rained on the parade in 42 years," he said. "We've had it rain up until 10 minutes before but never during."
About 20,000 to 25,000 people usually line the 11/2-mile parade route, and almost all of them have a favorite vantage point, he said.
"Watch it with your best friend," he recommended. "It's a good community event because you see folks you maybe haven't seen all year. . . . It's 20,000 people sitting around having a good time."
The entertainment starts Saturday with the Old Fashioned Family Faire and the railroad tunnel flea market from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Washington Square Park (East Park).
The fair will include an open-air concert by the Oswego Music Hall at 11 a.m., children's games and a chicken barbecue by the Oswego Elks Lodge. Vendors will sell crafts and food in the old O&W Railroad tunnel all day.
Sunday's parade will include the first appearance of the White Sabers Drum Corps from Dans- ville, the Oswego and Hannibal high school marching bands and the Syracuse Police and Fire Band. There also will be three drum corps - the Syracuse Brigadiers, the Kingston Grenadiers from Ontario, Canada, and the Original Yanks Senior Corps from Antwerp.
"The parade has some really good music," Bushey said. "There's a little something for everyone."
Deana Masuicca, executive director of the Oswego YMCA and an Independence Day co-chair, said the weekend is tailor-made for families.
"It's just fun to get out and see the floats, the bands," she said. "It's a great day to spend with the family."
