www.palltimes.com/homepage/x1012434631Make a statement and vote them all out. Let them know we are not happy and want change. Oswego, N.Y. - Three seats on the board of education will be at stake when Oswego City School District residents go to the polls on May 20.
Voting, between the hours of noon and 9 p.m., will be conducted at 10 sites throughout the school district, with seven in the city of Oswego and one each in Scriba, Oswego Town and Minetto.
Board of education members Sally Nettles, Margaret “Maggie” Tiballi and William “Dave” White are incumbents whose terms expire on June 30.
The deadline for submission of petitions is April 30.
Requirements To be eligible to seek a position on the board, a person must be able to read and write, be a qualified voter of the district and a citizen of the United States who is at least 18 years of age.
The person must be or have been a resident of the district for a continuous and uninterrupted period of one year, but is not required to be a taxpayer. Candidates may not reside with another member of the same school board as a member of the same family, cannot be a current employee of the school board and may not simultaneously hold another incompatible public office.
Petitions and informational packets are available from Bill Foley in District Clerk’s Office on the first floor of the Education Center at 120 E. First St. For further information, contact Foley at 341-2020 or at wfoley@oswego.org.

Mr. Bosco's letter was absolutely what that witch Maggie needed to hear. He accurately captured the feelings of most of the Oswego community. I was very happy to see that letter in the paper today.
