The 911 OFD scandal is proof that Bateman is biased and plays favorites, or worse, is yellow. Justice has NOT been served. I hope that Harrington seeks an outside source for the investigation.
All citizens should be outraged.

So who does pull the strings on the present mayor, our so called leader?
You aren't meant to know who. If something was being done that all who are concerned were proud of it, you would be reading about it on page one of the local scandal sheet. If a slick maneuver is being perpetrated on the local citizenry, it has to be hush hush and all involved sworn to secrecy.
So who is the master puppeteer? From my past experiences with this type of BS, my first thoughts are of the MACHINE, the Oswego city Democratic party , led by the city Democratic leader, who in turn might be more than slightly influenced (read arm twisted) by the burgeoning county machine.
Now is as good a time as any to tell you some of what's going on. Several days ago I wrote a letter to the Lion to express my total disgust with what is going on concerning the OFD 911 crime and the so called audit. The Lion refused to print the letter. I didn't even go into who the special, super duper, investigator is that was appointed to her job by the last mayor, ugh. Does that tell you something about her caliber? Guess what, her job as super duper investigator is to investigate some of the previous mayor's appointees. Come on folks, Does anyone have any presumptions about what the outcome of this investigtion would be. Give me a break.
In the letter, I mentioned that if this jelly fish of a mayor dares sluff this crime off, or at least till after elections, the Democratic city leader should be forewarned that there will be a huge backlash by the voters against, not only the spineless mayor, but all of the others running on the same slate. They appear to be of one mind.
If they ignore that a crime has been committed, with the wink of an eye, I want to have no part of a group of lowlifes that condone shoddy government. I am angry. A crime has been committed and we are told to believe otherwise.
I am a registered Democrat, but believe me, if something isn't done to see this crime through, it's the last time that any local Democrat gets my vote. Many others that I have discussed this matter with have agreed with me. If this is the attitude and policy of the local Democratic club, then I'm giving it a wide berth to avoid any part of this good ol' boy attitude.
A CRIME HAS BEEN COMMITTED. DOES ANYONE CARE?

There are some Democrat Party members who have left being active in the party, ex...fund raisers, canvasing, etc. They wanted a leader and didn't get one.

My husband and I basically vote Democrat But from what we've seen up to now from this bunch, I think that it is time for a third party. We certainly don't want to see the remnants of the Gosek party back and I think we've had enough of the phony balony that we're getting now from the ones we voted in last time. They aren't what they said they are.
Like Glider says, we're disgusted too. We really thought Ed H was a breath of fresh air in city hall
Bye bye, Randy. Don't quit your day job.

Word has it that there is an Independent running. I was talking to someone downtown and I guess he is trying to get names. If he gets in, he needs a sharp campaign manager.
Should we really be surprised about Bateman's decision?
Can anything be done? I hope the letters to the editor go flying in, not that it will do something, but you never know.
