Harrington web attacks

Does anyone else see Harrington's web page attack on the Sting owner as a personal public attack? The graffiti is indeed a problem and eyesore. How it is presented on his website is childish. Shame on you, Alderman Harrington.

I also saw that posting and it is a shame. I do agree that ALL graffiti is an eyesore and for Harrington to single out a "Wahrendorf" just proves the case of his SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT. The comments and name calling is childish and uncalled for. It is a shame that this behavior comes from an elected official. There is much more graffiti around the city that needs to be cleaned up, but like usual, Harrington only singles out someone on his personnel agenda. Like I have stated in the past, the only way to clean up this city ( and I mean the WHOLE city),is by taking a POSITIVE approach and working with the land/building owners. What good has ever come out of bullying and name calling.

Oh, and before the Harrington followers come on board and start their rendition of name calling, I am not a "slumlord", not an onion farmer, not a real estate agent, nor am I a member of the fire department, and not a member of any past administration.

Boy, that didn't take long for that immature response. First off, I am not your "pal' and secondly just how much more to the story could there possibly be? You know what? I normally think of Harrington as doing a good job for the city, but when I went to his website and saw that, I lost some respect for the guy. It makes it look like he is bothered by the Warhendorfs.

I checked out the Lion and saw this:

If the Graffiti on Wahren-DORKS building was worded like this:

Who is stirring up trouble? Come on. How would you feel if you were on the receiving end of this? We are talking about a representative of a city ward. Someone who should show some integrity.

A little tact can still get the point across without appearing demeaning. I have to agree with Brian on this.
