Could anyone tell me what it means when said 'tallying up the points?" I'm clueless for I have been out of town. From what I read it sounds like it's coming from the council. what's it all about? thanks.

I didn't see the paper or watch the last council meaning. I don't get it. Tell the truth about what?

Truth, There are committee meetings were things are talked about. On the alternate Monday there are meetings most of the time where the committees present their proprosed Resolutions to the other Council Members. These meeting sometimes are very long sometimes and they involve different department heads, etc. At the Council Meetings, which are every 2 and 4th Monday of the month they vote on them ,etc. Those meeting are televised. THe points to be tallied was Cozymento's idea, it would be set up like a point system for offenses like, tall grass and other things a homeowner can be cited for .Landlords would be cited also. THats how I understand it to be, but nothing has been firmed up yet. Call your Alderman for details.

Yes indeed! Hopefully for home owners who struggle to make ends meet, the council will help find them assisance from the state. The sorry local economy has hurt many families.
As an addendum to your info, I heard on NPR that Syracuse landlords are being arrested.

Yes in Syracuse they are after landlords also. I saw it on NBC last night, channel 3. I think Community Development might have funds for homeowners who qualify for low interest loans..
