Anyone know of a good website to get recipes? I'm looking specifically for quick dinners for two working parents and kids to feed. As much as full dinners are nice to have, they often take too long to prepare.

::)THe best site I know of for new cooks or very busy families is: www.allrecipes.com This site is great. You can have recipe adjusted to as many servings you want, in a few seconds! It has ratings and comments available, my youngest daughter loves it. lOTS OF GOOD TIPS ALSO. TRY IT OUT!

iF YOU DON'T HAVE A CROCK POT YOU SHOULD INVEST IN ONE. ALSO PICK UP A CROCK POT COOK BOOK, WITH COLDER MONTHS COMING SOON,THERE IS NOTHING LIKE A HOT MEAL READY WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THE DOOR. YOU CAN PUT IT TOGETHER BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR WORK. ....CUT UP THE INGREDIENTS NIGHT BEFORE AND PUT IN BAGGIES...YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID THE NEXT NIGHT WHEN YOU SIT DOWN TO EAT!
NOTE: I didn't think people actually ate those Hamburger Helper Meals!

File this under unbelievable, but true.
Speaking of Hamburger Helper. Several years ago my husband and I were driving home from visiting one of our children who lived out of state.
We were driving eastward on I-90 through South Dakota. We stayed overnight at a motel at the juncture of I-90 where it crossed the Missouri River.
After dinner, we took a walk to a local souvenir/ice cream shop. While looking at the novelties and knick-knacks on the shelves, we both spotted "IT"at the same time and laughed out loud.
"It" happened to be a brightly colored box of "ROADKILL HELPER". We bought several boxes to give to friends at home. We felt that they would never believe us if we didn't show them that it was true.
Many a good laugh was had because of this, for years since.
