COMMON COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 9, 2008
Authorize Mayor to Enter Into an Agreement With David Dunn, Owner of Dunn’s Wild Outdoors for Nuisance Wildlife Trapping for the Year 2008. Is this the same guy who DIDN"T catch any coyotes last year? How much did he charge the city for attempting to do the job that the city has an animal officer for? How much is the city giving this guy to do nothing again this year? The city must be rolling in the money, it doesn't seem to mind giving it away.

Fawgedaboutit. It's already a done deal. Its not what you know, its who you know. Sean O'Gorman looked into it and was told to forget about it. Another guy who used to be the animal control officer in Minetto, once asked about the job and was told, in so many words, to go take a hike. "Sorry, we have other people in mind."
Now these types of people will handle any kind of critter who comes along, skunks, racoons, snakes, rats, bats, even beavers and deer.
The prima donnas who already get the big bucks from the city, have changed the animal control officers job into just cats and dogs.
The next time you find a snake in your cellar, call the city and see who they send to remove it.
Ah, its so wonderful to know people in high places.

Its not about what you know its about who you ....!
Dunn is a wacko who thinks he's Rambo. I saw this guy show up at a house in sterling to catch or kill a mangy fox and he was packing more heat than the whole Iraqi army. I thinks he just likes to play with his gun. Anyway the fox is probably still laughing, Mr Dumm fired several shots at the fox and kicked up a lot of dirt, didn't hit anything but it sure looked cool. I think he killed two rocks and a small tree before the battle was over. I'd hope they don't let him carry a gun while in the city, there won't be a rock or tree thats safe.
;D

You got to be careful. Your talking about wacko Dave Dunn.
There was another animal control officer named Dunn too. He was the guy who worked over at Minetto until politicks done him in. He was good. He really knew his stuff. He helped me out more than once. I havent seen him around in a while. I bet there are other good control officers around that could use the extra bucks and really produce. Im not talking about the cat and dog sitters that the city is paying good bucks for now. There useless. You got to hire a real all animals control officer.
