I like the new owners at Evergreen Hills in the Town of Oswego. Small course, but very well kept and economically priced. Plus it's just around the corner from where I live. Fore!

Tamarack has that crazy weird spot where three holes intersect each other and people are dodging balls left and right. I think their biggest problem is geese mgmt. Poop all over the place and building up in your shoes and getting all over your golf ball.
Evergreens you can simply golf with a 7 iron and a putter if you wanted. And I love how the new owners have put in so much effort in to the apperance of the course.

I play every chance I get during the week and every weekend when there is no snow. The best courses in the county are: 1) The Club at Caughdenoy Creek...very good course, a bit on the hard side for the average player. New owners are great people. 2)Oswego Country Club... Private very nice course. 3)Griffins Greens...nice course, a challenge for all golfers. The Griffin family is the best, very nice people. 4)Brennan Greens...only nine holes but worth the cost. Another course that offers a challenge for all levels of golfers. 5)Battle Island State Park...good course could be better. 6)Emerald Crest Golf Club....ok but overpriced 7)Tamarack Golf Club...ok nothing special 8)Greenview Country Club...ok but not for my liking. 9)The Pines Golf Club...nice people just too many leagues and events. Best course for the money...Ravenwood in Victor, N.Y........#1 all around place for the serious golfer.

Caughdenoy Creek and Griffins are the two around Oswego County. The courses at Turning Stone, and Ravenwood in Victor are my favorites.

I'm here most days just laying low. The company owners I work for keep adding more and more to my job description. The sons of a Bs are taking up almost a 1/4 of my day with work....they don't understand I need ME TIME. I swear if they didn't keep giving me more money I'd fire the people who work under me just to set them straight and show em a thing or two. Hey you have a great day, I gotta go find someone to clean my office, the cats and dog must have been using it as a playroom last night.

Yah, I hate it when the boss gives me more work. Well I hope you post once in a while. As I remember, you always contributed in a well researched fashion. Its a pleasure to have you around.

BGA Tour~ Bar Golf is a drinking game(nine bars equal nine holes) That apparently is growing in popularity among college students.I'm sure binge drinking isn't the sort of activity the PGA tour wishes to be associated with, yet the second annual Boston Bar Golf Invitational (held last month) has knocked off the tour's familiar logo, through sunstituting the "B" for the 'P" and using a silhouette, not of a golfer swinging a club, but of a man guzzling from the bottle. It sounds interesting to say the least.
