Under General Boards -page 3. post started by Truth-'Recipes' The site I gave was www.allrecipes.com great site for new cooks, old cooks, etc. You can change the amounts a recipe make by one click! Say you want Mac n Cheese for 12 instead of for 8, you enter the number of serving you want and the recipe is changed, all the ingredients are increased to the amount you need for bigger yield. I love this site! You can Crock pot recipes and Ethnic recipes to from a lot of countries. You will also find easy recipes for kids.

Ahh, the crock pot. I have two of them. One is medium size and the other is large.
One of the things my husband loves is when I cook a pot roast, or rump roast. I add onions, potatoes, carrots, 1 1/2 cups of water and sometimes a bay leaf. Use herbs, spices, salt and pepper to your individual taste.
I can set it up and turn it on in the morning, and by evening it is the greatest meal you ever had. Cheaper cuts of meat just melt in the crock pot. For less cooking time, cube the meat first. Check the moisture content from time to time. It seems to add it's own natural juices.
Ummm. Is that good, or what?
