I am not voting for this man. The purpose of sex is to make
babies and not to have fun, and the purpose of marriage is to raise those babies and establish legal lines of inheritance. Spitzer is very wrong on this issue.

One of the main purposes of sex is pleasure. Consider what one wise man named Solomon wrote. He said:
Drink water from your own cistern
And fresh water from your own well.

Solomon's ancient love sonnet, the "Song of Solomon," is one of the best sex manuals ever written and traces the beauty of a sexual relationship in marriage. It gets pretty hot and juicy, so be careful where you are when you read it. (Would it surprise you to know that it's in the Bible?)
Another purpose of sex is to develop oneness or unity. "For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh"(Genesis 2:24 NASB).
A third purpose for sex is procreation. That, of course, is how we all got here.
Why don't you just say you're against gays or find another way to cover the fact that you're an anti-gay bigot.
Come on try to be honest.

You can have your opinion. I have mine. Sex was made to feel good otherwise we wouldn't have it. Your last reason is the only true reason. Anything else is a spin to justify lust. Solomon's perversions are well known.

You are right you can have your own opinion, however wrong it is.
You're still a gay bashing bigot.....thats not an opinion its a fact based on your own post.

I hope that for everyone elses sake you don't have any kids. I'd hate to see you pass your twisted thinking on to anyone else.

I am voting for Spitzer.
But I don't believe in Gay marriage, but if they want to have some type of union,so be it. I am not going to stand in their way.
Spitzer will make positive changes in our State, that has for so long 'trying' to survive.

It makes perfect sense to me. It doesnt matter to me if you accept homosexuality as normal. Its not. Why cant a man/man or woman/woman sex produce a baby? It goes against nature for a reason. Homosexuality is a form of lust. Lust causes grief and problems between our brother. That is one of the deadly vices. Call me a gay basher because that is the politicly correct way to call the one who stands up for what is right. If I am against the gay lifestyle you say I have a bigot opinion. I say if you accept it you have a unnatural pervertion.
I wont vote for Spitzer because of that view.

I don't promote it at all. I for years HAVE had many gays who I helped, some got out of the lifestyle, some died.
But I don't bash them,I pray for them. I keep myself open to help them, most I know were victims of molestation. Their sin is no different than any other sin, God doesn't have degrees of Sin, that is something RELIGION has made up. True Christianity embraces the sinner but not his SIN. That's what Jesus did.

to have sex/babies. You mentioned nothing about love.
If that were the case then my husband would have
divorced me years ago when I was having "female issues"
and could not have sex. But, out of love, he stood by me
through everything. That is what a relationship should
be built on. LOVE.
Just because a person is gay does not mean that
they don't truly love their partner. There are people
you see on the street every day that are gay and
you don't even know it.
Don't vote for Spitzer...that is your choice.
I really don't think he is gonna suffer if

I gave Gays the connections to help themselves. I don't have power like you think you do. You sound like you need to go back to IO, your hatered for others will blend with the others over there who have a lot of hatered and jealous behavior also.

I think we can each have opinions here. The speak/tone of the one user does not necessarily mean it is an IO user, does it?  Actually, I like to read a good debate. Its when things like "you moron, idiot, imbecile, creep, braindead wingnut, etc..." come up that things start to lose effectiveness. Lets try to show some respect. Its OK to disagree. Really. I have never said I was or am anti-christian. 666 is a number and just a number. Your problem is that you think because I questioned your remarks about gays that I am full of hate. Look in the mirror if you want to see hate. You don't like that fact that your idea of using religion to justify hate was questioned or that you were called on your statement of "changing gays". You claim to be a Christian yet you are quick to pass judgement on the gay community as being sinners. Just what the hell is your opinion of a True Christian anyway? And what lies would you be speaking of? I don't remember posting anything that was a lie. I questioned your posts, thats not lying. You want to be able to make remarks and not get any negative feed back. This is not your home where you might be king and everything you say is gospel. This is a web site like many others where people voice opinions and question others on their opinions. You were real quick to voice your opinion until I questioned it and then became annoyed. If your belief is so strong and you feel its right then my questions should of been easy to reply to. People only run away when they are unsure in their own minds and feel threatened. There is no reason to act like a child and have a tantrum. All you had do do was say you were not interested in debating your beliefs. I'm pretty easy and would of left it alone.
