From what I have seen in the County of Oswego is that the GOP has had control for to long, the county needs a fresh start.

This is so nice , things have beenin the hands of the " Good ole boys club" for way to long , change is coming whether those in politics like it or not and this is the voters time to let them know. There's a lot of new candidates out there with the community's best interests in mind.....

Change is usually good. Career politicians rarely work for the people. After a while, their personal interests and interest of their friends and colleagues come first.

The Town of Hastings Democratic party has announced its slate for the fall 2007 election.
Oswego County Legislator District #9 Judy Townsend, Oswego County Legislator District #8 Jim McMahon, Town Supervisor Larry White, Councilman Jason Cummings and Councilwoman Yvette Coomey,Town Clerk Melanie Matteson, Highway Superintendent David Winks, and Town Justice Mike Clark.
