If the State of New York [SUNY at Albany Offices especially], got involved with helping local government deal with the Slumlords, we might see more positive results. It seems like they use to have more power than they do now. Some kids are getting grants, loans, etc through the state of NY. And look at were some of our money is going...to slumlords who rent out dumps to these very students!

I know a couple who are decent, but from what I understand, they are in the minority. I would love to see the city rezoned for college housing in certain areas. Any truth to that complex of student housing out 104W?

Yes it is suppose to happen,I heard they were surveying recently.
