Oswego Fire Dept. still at it... At 5:55pm Saturday ( Oct. 27 ) I saw the Little red (Jeep Liberty) Fire Dept. vehicle at Bosco's Grocery store. A woman with dirty blond ? hair - wearing what appeared to be OFD issued clothing came out of Bosco's carrying a bag in each hand. I thought the Mayor ( Bateman ) sent an official letter to the OFD - stating that "Personal use" of OFD vehicles was to STOP immediately.... Yes or No ? When will they learn? My eyes are always open........... __________________________________________________

Good grief, who the hell is Carol Lombard?
Hey, young fellow. If you were over 65 years old, you would know right away who Carol Lombard was. She was a good looking actress who was married to another actor, Clark Gable by name.
She died in an airplane crash in the early years of the war (WW II) while returning from a War Bond drive. You might watch for her to appear, starring in many of the older movies shown on late night TV

Land sakes. I guess that I know about Carol Lombard from hearsay. I'm certainly not sixty five years old. I'm only thirty nine and holding. (Don't believe a word of what my husband might tell you.) ;D
